Had been to Singh is Kinng film. Actually i read The Hindu review by Ziya Us Salam and went to this movie. Ziya Us wrote “a breezy entertainer”. But when the film ended, i felt it was not breezy but very tiring entertainer.

Coming to the film. The film starts with high tech action where one singh called “king” is targeted by a sharp shooter. At the end of this scene, this king singh lands in parachute and kills the shooter in a miraculous way. There itself i got doubts about this film. But i kept quiet. See my friend kiran’s great mannerisms and imitations. i just wanted to test if this swf posting works inside wordpress.. and it worked. I dont have dreamweaver on my system yet.. so no other program to guide me on coding things. Just did some trial and error coding and it worked great. Testing successful!!

I and my friend Ravi were at Technologix 2008, the annual technical/cultural fest conducted by CSI at SJCE. Of the many events, the one which attracted us was the quiz competition which is being researched and presented by Avinash Mudaliar (3Xus)from past 2 years. And this was his third year at JCE.

Not only me and my friend, but even others like Avinash Mudaliar’s way of research and quizzing. He has given a new face to quizzing. I remember last time, Avinash had told about Wing Commander G.R. Mulky who was the one who introduced the new quizzing techniques.

Last year also, we had been to technologix 2007. We had also attended another quizx competition Exquizite (cyberia fest) which was done by Arul Mani. We had not qualified last time. But this time we were lucky enough to get qualified to the finals. We were the runners up. The event was won by National Law School Bangalore students. Interesting part was that the winners and we runners-up were Law Students.

I have to say that this year’s questions were very interesting but not astounding as last year.
