King of Torts
I happened to read John Grisham’s King of Torts. This is the first Grisham’s work i read. The starting of the novel is gripping and sticks us due to its suspense. But it is the chapters after half of the novel that really irritates. Same Tort lawyers, their toys, their food - these things are shown overly in the middle chapters. Had these things not been shown excessively, the 500 odd pages book could have been reduced by a hundred pages for sure.
The novel is about a rookie Clay Carter who works for OPD (office of public defense). Working under a boss Glenda, the money he earns is not enough for his life. Then he meets a person Tequila watson in a drug abuse and murder case. As he works into the case, fortune knocks his door. Who knocks the door, and how the fortune goes away as soon. In thew whole novel, the working of mass tort litigations in USA is shown well. Nice novel. Still more to write. will continue some other day.

Jaane Tu Jaane Na is nothing but an old story of boy and girl being cloooose friends and despite ignorant of “something” between them. And finally realizing “that” something in absence of each other.
The film’s title card is done innovatively. The title card video is shot in Mumbai’s Marine Drive area in a slow shutter painting type of video. We can notice several delicate moments in this title card video.
